Weet-Bix Slice

This was my favourite slice growing up. This recipe is from bestrecipes.com.au


  • 3 Weet-Bix crushed

  • 1 1/2 cup self-raising flour

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut

  • 125 g butter

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 3 tbs coconut *to decorate


  • 1 block of dark cooking chocolate



  1. Grease and line a slice tray with baking paper.

  2. Mix dry ingredients and combine with melted butter or margarine.

  3. Press into slice tray and bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes.

  4. Remove the slice from the oven and allow to cool.

  5. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or on the stove. Pour over the slice and spread evenly.

  6. Sprinkle over coconut and place in the fridge to set.

  7. Remove from fridge and cut into slices

  8. Enjoy :)
