Homemade Parmesan Cheese

This nutritional yeast parmesan cheese is so easy to make and a delicious cheese substitute. I like adding it to pasta dishes, on top of roast veggies and to salads for extra flavour. 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 a cup of raw cashew nuts 
  • 1/2 a cup of nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 tbs of hemp seeds 
  • 20 cracks of sea salt 

Method:

  1. Combine cashews, nutritional yeast flakes, 1 tbs of hemp seeds and salt in a NutriBullet or food processor
  2. Blitz for only a few seconds.
  3. Pour mixture into an airtight container and add 1 tbs of hemp seeds. Shake to combine. 
  4. Store at room temperature.
  5. Enjoy.
