Banana Protein Pancakes

Makes about 6-8 medium sized pancakes. 


  • 1 cup of self raising flour
  • 1/3 cup of H.alt hemp protein powder
  • 1 1/2 cups of almond or coconut milk
  • 1 large ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • Serve with maple syrup & extra banana 
  • Optional* Sprinkle hemp seeds on top for an extra protein boost. 


  1. Sift flour into a large bowl. Add hemp protein powder, milk, vanilla and banana and whisk until smooth.
  2. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Spray with coconut oil or grease with melted butter.
  3. Using 1/3 cup, pour mixture into pan, cook each pancakes for 2 minutes or until bubbles appear on surface. Flip and cook for a further 1-2 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. Transfer pancakes to a plate. Cover loosely with a tea towel to keep warm.
  5. Repeat with remaining mixture, spraying pan between each pancake.
  6. Serve with banana and maple syrup.
